Because we have come to respect the value of the original designs, this piano received a new original-style soundboard (copying antique design)
The original rocker stickers were retained (we did not replace with modern screw capstans). The hammers, hammer shanks and flanges were replaced, and Precision Touch-Design techniques were applied to balance the action to the highest degree, but maintaining the original geometry (hammer weight was kept close to original overall specifications).
Old replacement plastic keytops were replaced with genuine, legal pre-ban ivory keytops.
Original art work on plate was uncovered and photo-documented.
