String Cover

We supply a 100% virgin wool custom string cover designed to fit over the strings and soundboard of your piano, protecting your soundboard and plate from dust, and your strings from rust.  Upholstered crosspieces are fastened to keep the cover off the strings.  Piano wire is not stainless and rusts easily, and soundboards are very difficult to clean.   This cover can keep the strings and soundboard beautiful for a long time.  Contact me with make, model and S/N of your piano.  This can be shipped if prepaid.  Most covers can be ordered without pattern, some require a pattern to be made on the piano, best done at the time of tuning, or an additional service call is required.

This is a low-volume, custom product, and the time from order to delivery may be 8 weeks.  Other sources can be faster, but my experience is that my vendor, Edwards Covers, the original string cover manufacturer, makes a far superior product, and is well worth the wait.  www.edwardsstringcovers.com .
