PIANO DATABASE - INTERACTIVE WEB

 WE INVITE TECHNICIANS AND PIANO OWNERS TO SEND DOCUMENTATION - PHOTOS, IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION ON ALL PIANOS, BUT ESPECIALLY PIANOS BUILT AFTER THE 1850s. 

ESPECIALLY PIANOS IN OUR STUDIES: STEINWAYS BUILT FROM 1853 TO 1892 AND CHICKERINGS BUILT FROM 1823 TO 1982.  FOR STEINWAY SEE EARLY STEINWAY REGISTRY.

ALSO KNABE, MASON AND HAMLIN AND BALDWIN, AND OTHER EARLY”MODERN” AMERICAN PIANOS OF SIGNIFICANCE

We are embarking on a project to collect and share data on this site, and will put optimized photos up on the website.  Please send your photos, notes and measurements to contact@periodpianos.org

AFTER RECEIPT OF SEVERAL SUBMISSIONS WE WILL BEGIN TO POST OPTIMIZED PICTURES WITH INFORMATION PROVIDED

 THE “HISTORICAL PIANO SOCIETY” ONCE FOUNDED WILL INCLUDE A SMALL DUES FEE TO SUPPORT AN  ENLARGED PIANO DOCUMENTATION  INTERACTIVE WEB ENDEAVOR..
