OPEN HOUSE - PERIOD PIANO CENTER I personally invite you to an open house to view, play and hear instruments in the collection of the Period Piano Center and learn about the work being done to preserve piano history through document archiving, research and writing, seminars and classes, ,the Piano Historical Society, web-based database development, and of course, collection. This event is for those willing to financially support the completion of the non-profit status of Period Piano Center and help it get off the ground with a strong financial foundation. Hear the songs of Stephen Foster, accompanied by a Steinway square piano. Hear the music of Chopin and Brahms on a completely original 1866 Erard vertical piano. A minimum donation of $50 is requested. All donations of $100 or more will receive a recording of the new and extraordinary “Ravel Revealed” 2-set CD recording of the complete solo Ravel piano works with Gwendolyn Mok on her Erard concert grand. Donations of $100 ore more received before May 7 will receive a complimentary brochure anthology of the Period Piano Center collection to date. Where?
